NEW PALTZ, N.Y. – A New Paltz man faces animal cruelty charges after police found an injured dog at his home.
New Paltz Police and Ulster County SPCA arrested Ciro Interrante, 62, Monday after responding to a complaint of an injured dog.
Police found an elderly Chihuahua unable to walk at Interrante's home. "Chi Chi" also suffered from skin conditions and poor nutrition.
Interrante faces multiple charges, including aggravated cruelty to animals and failure to provide food and drink. He was arraigned and released on bail.
