Romney endorses McCain
NEWPORT, R.I. -- Senator John McCain has found a believer in former rival Mitt Romney.
The former Massachusetts governor is throwing his support behind McCain with an official endorsement.
Romney is releasing his 280 national delegates and asking them to back McCain.

The move would put the Arizona senator right on the edge of the 1,191 delegates needed to grab the Republican nomination.
Romney said, "I am honored today to give my full support to Senator McCain's candidacy for the Presidency of the United States."
Romney suspended his campaign last week, saying Republicans need to be united in order to win the top seat in the White House.
