LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. -- Former New York Yankees player and manager Lou Pinella was in town Thursday at the Center For Disability Services.

Sweet Lou visited with the children there, singed autographs and took pictures.

He had visited the center back in the 1980's and said being back really puts things into perspective.

"My wife has always told me, if I had time, when I'm in these cities, to visit. And you know what, you take your profession so seriously. And you want to be so prepared that sometimes you don't do the things that you should be doing. When you come to a facility like this you realize what's really important," said Pinella.
