TUCSON, AZ -- Schenectady native Mark Lyons made his debut with the Arizona Wildcats on Sunday.

The former Xavier Musketeer is using his final year of college eligibility to play for Sean Miller, who recruited him to Xavier.

Lyons got the start at point guard. He scored a team high 17 points with six assists. The 12th ranked Wildcats earned a season opening 82-73 win against Charleston Southern.
