NISKAYUNA, N.Y. -- Wednesday marked the first day high school students could put pen to paper and sign national letters of intent.

In Niskayuna, seven student-athletes did just that.

An All-American as a junior, Luke Goldstock who already holds the school record for points and has another season left is off to the University of North Carolina.

Lucas Maloney, also an All-American last year, is going to Penn State. Goalie Evan Quinn is off to Hartford. Tyler Pantalone and Dom Sloma will play against one another in college in the MAAC. Pantaloine is staying close to home and will attend Siena while Sloma is heading downstate to Marist.

Kelly Shlankser of the girls' lacrosse team has been given a scholarship to the University of Michigan. Next year will be the schools first season with a women's lacrosse team.

Meanwhile, Kina Zhuo, a 15-time Section II champion swimmer, will be attending Yale next year.
