CAPITAL REGION -- The first high school state girls' basketball rankings are out and Section II is making a little noise. The Bethlehem Eagles are ranked third in the state in Class AA.

In Class A Section II, which is home to the top teams in New York, Holy Names has earned themselves the number one ranking.

They are 6-0 overall, 5-0 in the league. Holy Names is led by Hannah Friend, Mary Kate Murray and Deja Dees.

Lucky for them, the team is still young. Murray is one of just three seniors on the team. Friend is a sophomore and Deas is just a freshman.
