Big Blue gives Boley the boot
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- The Giants officially kick started their offseason on Tuesday, making their first roster move.
The Giants have cut veteran linebacker Michael Boley. He is an eight year vet, joining the G-Men in 2009 after signing a 5-year/$25 million contract.
The 30 year old made 11 starts this season and was fourth on the team with 84 tackles. Boley had three interceptions, two fumble recoveries and a touchdown against the Steelers.
Boley's most memorable game for the Giants come in last years Super Bowl when he lead the team with 10 tackles against the Patriots enroute to their second title in five years.
