LATHAM, N.Y. -- A familiar face was back in the Capital Region on Wednesday. Shaker High School grad Tom Kahnle was signing autographs at Finnigan's Sportscards in Colonie.

Kahnle is a minor league pitcher in the Yankees organization. He's worked his way up the system, pitching in all three levels of A-Ball and ending last year with AA Trenton.

Now he's been invited to spring training with the big club in Tampa. This will be Kahnle's fourth season in the Yankees farm system.
