CAPITAL REGION, N.Y. -- Spartans senior quarterback Paul Layton says he's excited about being an underdog for once. As funny as it sounds, it's true. Although the undefeated Spartans are ranked second in New York State in Class A behind the team they will face on Saturday is top ranked team in the state, out of Section VI. And one of these two will suffer its first loss of the season.
