ALBANY, N.Y. -- Brendan Harris grew up in Queensbury, dreaming of playing major league baseball. But it was more than dreams that took him to William and Mary and eventually to the Big Leagues. Thursday night, Harris was in town telling youngsters how they can follow in his footsteps.

Harris was at the Orchard Tavern in Albany for a meet and greet with fans. Harris just finished his second season with the Twins. He played in 123 games for Minnesota hitting .261 with six homer and 37 RBIs. He was also part of a Twins team that won the AL Central and got to play the Yankees in the post season. It was his first taste of October baseball, and one he'll never forget.

Harris said he's excited to play with the Twins next season and to help christen their new ballpark, Target Field, which opens in 2010.
