HUDSON VALLEY, N.Y. -- You might notice a change to your on-screen cable guide. Time Warner Cable introduced its new and improved channel guide to its digital cable customers in the Hudson Valley.

The company says the guide is designed to be easier to navigate. The 'start over' and 'look back' features are easier to use. Customers can search for their favorite shows by genre, actors and category.

The new guide display takes into account customer feedback the company has received.

"This is actually is a good thing. It’s helping them be able find shows better, their shows will be organized by categories. But the biggest overall change with the onscreen guide is the change in the color pallet, as well as the functionality," said Stephanie Salanger, Time Warner Cable Communications Manager.
