SARATOGA RACE COURSE -- It's not just the racing that's drawing folks to Saratoga. On Sunday, it's all about the hats. The 21st annual Hat Contest was held, topping off Opening Weekend at the race course.

People of all ages participate every year, and the hat designs just keep getting better and better. The contest features three categories titled Uniquely Saratoga, Fashionably Saratoga, and for the younger participants, Kreative Kids.

Those who enter, parade in front of the judges for the chance to win a variety of Saratoga prizes. Some people we spoke with say they take the contest seriously, while some are just in it to have a good time.

One winner is chosen in each category, and prizes include betting vouchers and gift certificates.
