Kimono leading entrymate Kansas to the wire

Todd Pletcher continued his annual run of success in 2-year-old races at Saratoga Sunday with Kimono's victory giving him 17 in 27 days.

The win put Pletcher one away from his personal Spa record of 18 victories in 2-year-old races in 2010. Those 18 wins made up half of his total for the meet. Last year, 15 of Pletcher's 38 Saratoga wins came with juveniles.

The eight-time training champion is in position to win another title and his 2-year-olds are pushing him along. Kimono's win was Pletcher's 24th of the season and 70 percent have been from 2-year-olds.
