GLENVILLE, N.Y. -- A financial counselor is accused of stealing Social Security numbers from cancer patients. Glenville police arrested Victoria Horton from Broadalbin. Horton is an employee of New York Oncology in Gloversville. She is charged with identity theft.

Police said she would use the Social Security numbers of patients to acquire fraudulent Wal-Mart Discover credit cards.

Horton then allegedly used the cards at Wal-Mart stores throughout the Capital Region.

Horton is scheduled to be back in Glenville town court on February 12th.
