Police scaling back search for Jaliek
GREENWICH, N.Y. -- After six months with few leads, the active search for missing 12-year-old Jaliek Rainwalker is being scaled back.

Greenwich police said unless they get a break in the case, they can't dedicate as many resources to the investigation.

Jaliek has been missing since the beginning of November.

Since then, search crews and volunteers have repeatedly searched the woods of Washington County, as well as the Battenkill and the Hudson River.

Jaliek was last seen with his adoptive father, Stephen Kerr, who was named a person of interest in the case but has never been charged.

Police said while the intensive search has ended, the case remains open.
