Volunteers need for playground at Kelley Park
BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. -- Calling all volunteers! Help is still needed to build what's being called a dream playground for kids in Ballston Spa. And organizers are hoping you decide to leave your mark -- at Kelley Park.
The group "Fans and Neighbors of Ballston Spa" are looking for nearly 1,000 volunteers over the next six days to help build the Kelley Park Playground. Jobs include everything from framing to painting.

Volunteer Eric Anderson said, "We've got literally hundreds of volunteers signed up. We literally need hundreds more and we need lots of tools. We need hand drills, power drills, shovels, wheelbarrows, you name it because this thing gets built by hand."
Free meals will be provided. Children ages 10 to 13 are also welcome to help alongside their parents. And those 14 and up are allowed to work by themselves.
