Jaliek task force continues search, events in his name
GLENS FALLS, N.Y. -- After months of searching with no luck, the people close to Jaliek Rainwalker continue to look for him on their own.
Jaliek Rainwalker's grandmother Barbara Reeley tells us that some volunteers will be searching Merck Forest in Vermont on July 12th and 26th. She is meeting with people from the forest to get an idea of where they should be looking.

The Find Jaliek Task Force is also going to be doing something on August 2nd, Jaliek's 13th birthday, although they don't have the plans set in stone yet.
The group also continues to communicate with Cambridge-Greenwich Police Chief George Bell to find out if there are any developments, even though police have had to scale down their investigation in recent months.
Reeley also said a Texas EquuSearch volunteer is in contact with producers with national shows like Oprah and Good Morning America to get his story more widespread attention.
