Rotterdam police were called to the Planet Fitness on Altamont Avenue Tuesday for a report of a suspicious man trying to break into vehicles in the parking lot. Over the past few days, there were several incidents in which vehicle windows were broken and items were stolen.

An investigation led to the arrest of Gregory Haggerty, 19, who is charged with fourth-degree grand larceny. He was arraigned and sent to Schenectady County Jail without bail.
