Medicaid cap saves New Yorkers money

In the past, the county share of Medicaid expenses has increased dramatically almost every year, and has put an ever increasing strain on local budgets.
In addition to the savings provided by the cap, the legislation provides for county Medicaid anti-fraud programs, providing more fiscal relief to county budgets.
