CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. – There is new information about Monday night's fatal construction accident in Clifton Park as investigators have identified the victim as Brett Peck, 20, of Lennox, Massachusetts.

The Sheriff's Department said Peck and another man were installing drains behind a home when the walls of the ditch collapsed. Peck was buried and by the time his co-workers realized what happened, it was too late.

Peck worked for Steven Fiske Concrete Company, which has a local office in Sand Lake.

Sheriff's officials say they're investigating whether there were any safety violations at the construction site.
