Saturday marks one year since Jaliek disappeared
GREENWICH, N.Y. -- Saturday will mark one year since the disappearance of Jaliek Rainwalker.
Despite very few leads in the case, Jaliek's family and friends aren't giving up hope. Volunteers are holding a ceremony this weekend, and they'll be out searching for him again.
Jaliek's family said it's been a hard year, and it's getting more difficult as the anniversary gets closer.

Grandmother Barbara Reeley said, "I'm in a hard place today because I'm doing last year. Last year this time, Jaliek was safe. Last year this time, it would have been possible to reach out, if only I'd known. And I can't do the 'if onlys'. I just have to do the best I can to search and do what law enforcement has asked me to do, which is be out here, keep Jaliek's face and awareness for him."
Jaliek was last seen with his adoptive father, Stephen Kerr. No suspects have been named in his disappearance, but Kerr was named a person of interest.
