New Jaliek Rainwalker billboard on display
CAPITAL REGION -- Saturday marks one year since Jaliek Rainwalker disappeared, and family members are doing their best to keep him in the spotlight.
A new billboard was put up Friday on Route 7 near the Town of Hoosick with Jaliek's picture and information. Family members hope it will remind people that they still need help in their search.

Over the past year, volunteers have been dedicated to helping the family find the boy, but few leads have turned up.
Grandmother Barbara Reeley said, "It's a hard thing to mark not knowing. Not knowing is harder than knowing."
There was a vigil on Saturday at the Missing Persons Monument in Albany. Family members also took a drive marking the route Jaliek's adoptive father Stephen Kerr said he took with Jaliek the night he was last seen. The drive ended at Mowrey Park in Greenwich where the family held another vigil.
