Amtrak shows off glass dome topped car
RENSSELAER, N.Y. -- One of Amtrak’s Great Dome Cars was on display at the Rensselaer Train Station. The spacious car was added to its Adirondack service last month for fall foliage season. Its glass domed top, provides panoramic views of the beautiful countryside between Albany and Montreal.

An Amtrak spokesperson tells us time is running out to take a ride on the unique train car.

"This is the second year that Amtrak and New York State have run the program and it runs through November 11th. It's actually been out here since October. There hasn't been a lot of tooting or fanfare about it, so we have had a few more round trips between now and next week so people can still take advantage of it," said Amtrak spokesman Cliff Cole.
