Cold, windy weather causes power outages
CAPITAL REGION -- Strong winds ripped through the Capital Region Sunday night, leaving thousands without power.
According to the National Grid website, power has been restored for most of the customers in the area.
The wind was strong enough to blow a tree down onto a house at 14 Warner Avenue.

The homeowners were inside putting up their Christmas tree when this happened, but luckily no one was hurt.
