National Grid continues NYS Energy Efficiency Tour
ALBANY, N.Y. -- Save some green while going green. That's National Grid's slogan for their New York State Energy Efficiency Tour.
This month the company is touring local towns and cities to better educate people on energy efficiency and the little things they can do to save the world without sacrificing their wallets.

National Grid is also offering rebates on appliances and other tools to help your house become more eco-friendly.
Patrick Stella of National Grid said, "There are a lot of little things you can do around your house that aren't as expensive. You can replace your light bulbs with compact fluorescents, tighten up the areas around your windows and just know what you are using."
National Grid is also promoting energy efficiency while going green themselves. The car they're using runs on natural gas.
