Search continues for man who jumped into the Hudson
TROY, N.Y. -- State Police divers continued their search of the Hudson River Monday for a man who jumped into the water over the weekend.
Troy police said Darren LaRose was fishing and drinking with his nephew on Saturday night under the Collar City Bridge when he jumped off the river bank.

The river was searched Saturday night and again on Sunday. Police said they are calling the search a recovery effort.
Dean said it's unlikely LaRose survived the fall into the 40-degree water.
