Tulip Festival kicks off with street scrubbing
ALBANY, N.Y. -- The 61st annual Tulip Festival is officially underway in Albany.
The festival kicked off in traditional fashion Friday with the ceremonial scrubbing of State Street.
The Tulip Festival honors Albany's Dutch heritage with music on two stages, hundreds of vendors, a craft show, plenty of food and, of course, the stars of the show: the tulips.
