Pint-sized pool shark appears on Rachael Ray
GLOVERVILLE, N.Y. -- It's been nearly four months since we covered the story of 2-year-old pool shark Keith O'Dell, Jr. of Gloversville, and now another national show has picked up on the story.
"He truly makes shooting pool look like child's play...because he is one."
Monday afternoon, Keith appeared as a guest on Rachael Ray, showing off his skills on a miniature pool table for the studio audience.
Keith's parents said he loves the game of pool, and while some think he's too young to understand the game, his parents say otherwise.

Dad Keith O'Dell, Sr. said, ""Especially recently I've been showing him bank shots and combo shots. And after I show him the shot, that's what he does. So now when he's at the table you'll see he'll be going for either combo shots or a bank shot off the rail, instead of going for the easier shots on the table because that's what I'm working with him on."
"So the obvious one right in the corner, he won't go for it," said mom Courtney O'Dell.
Capital News 9 was just the beginning of Keith Jr.'s television fame. Since our story in March, he's been on Good Morning America, the Today Show, CNN, and a number of other local stations as well as international programming and a number of magazines and competitions.
