AMSTERDAM, N.Y. -- An Amsterdam brother and sister are facing multiple charges after a DWI stop turns violent.

Police in Amsterdam say George Sperow refused to pull over for speeding late Thursday night when cops finally caught up with him in his driveway. They say he had been drinking and resisted arrest.

Meanwhile, his sister Linda got out of the car and started throwing punches at officers. She was also arrested.

They both face multiple charges including, DWI, speeding, resisting arrest and drinking alcohol in a vehicle.
