It may not be in the mainstream.
"The flu vaccine is loaded with toxins that you just don't want to put in your system."
Information questioning the swine flu vaccine is out there.
"And it's in the majority of flu vaccines and that's mercury."
If you know where to look.
"It's still not proven to be safe yet," said Chris Monahan.
It's counter research that has this father concerned.
"I just don't know what's in it. You can look at the vile and see it, but there's just too many questions," Monahan said.
It's a fear pediatricians say is common. Dr. Michael Pichichero recently published a study he hopes will ease those fears.
"The amount of mercury in these vaccines is safe. And the previous information suggesting that it was not safe is incorrect," Pichichero said.
Rochester Clinical Research has already conducted two pediatric trials of the news H1N1 vaccine.
"This is a process that's been tried and true for years and years," said Dr. Matthew Davis.
While they sped up the normal trial period, Dr. Davis says safety was not compromised.
"The public should have confidence that the vaccine that will be widely administered in October is as safe as any other influenza vaccine that they may have gotten in past years," Davis said.
Davis says no one in the trial has experienced any adverse side effects.
When it comes to the safety of his two kids...
"It's just not the natural way to go," Monahan said.
Monahan still isn't convicted.
"Nobody knows what it's going to do. They say it's going to do this, but is it?" Monahan wondered.
