DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Dutchess County Historic Site rings in the holiday season with style.

For 26 years, Wilderstein Mansion in Rhinebeck has been treating its holiday visitors to a variety of specially designed Christmas decorations. Local floral artisans are continuing that yuletide tradition this year, donating arrangements that will adorn different rooms on the first floor of the mansion.

Featuring an eclectic array of trees, poinsettias, garland, holly and sparkling decorations, it's a seasonal must-see for locals and a draw for out-of-town visitors.

"I think they're very enthusiastic about it because we often have people come back year after year to see what's been done. Each year it's different. We never do the same thing," said Wilderstein Curatorial Coordinator Linda Watson.

Wilderstein's Queen Anne Victorian holiday season begins this weekend and continues through the end of December.
