LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. -- Spring may be this Sunday, but some Capital Region residents are hoping to plan a warm getaway.
Yankee Trails hosted its eighth annual Travel Expo at Siena College. The expo helps people find travel deals and plan trips.
More than 80 vendors were on hand, including Foxwoods, Norwegian Cruise Line, National Baseball Hall of Fame and some even as far as South Carolina.
Yankee Trails President Stephen Tobin said, "The main reason people come here is to get new ideas. We are known for our casino runs and our sports trips to Yankee Stadium, New York City, shopping and Broadway plays. There are all kinds of different destinations we go to."
Yankee Trails also hosted the fastest Travel Packer Contest. The proceeds went to The Bus Stop Club.
