ALBANY, N.Y. -- An investigation is underway at the University at Albany after a student reported that someone slipped a cell phone with a camera under the stall divider while she was in the restroom on Monday.

According to school officials, the incident happened around 1 p.m. in Husted Hall on the downtown campus. They said the student shouted and the person left the restroom.

The university sent an e-mail to School of Social Welfare students alerting them to what happened.

The school also released a statement saying, in part, "The University Police Department is investigating. While this type of incident is not widespread at the university, we urge everyone to be alert to unusual or inappropriate behavior and to report such behavior to University Police."
