GUILDERLAND, N.Y. -- Guilderland police are searching for a missing University of Albany graduate student.

Police say Uwana Okure, 21, has not attended classes since October 5th. He was last seen October 7th in the morning.

Police say he called a family member on the 8th, saying he was in a car accident in Cambridge, Massachusetts and was disoriented. Authorities checked with Cambridge police and there were no accidents involving the 2006 Jeep Liberty Okure was driving and he wasn't listed as a patient in any of the hospitals.
