TROY, N.Y. -- After the verdict was announced, Joseph McElheny was released from custody. We caught up with him outside the jail, where he shared his thoughts about the outcome of the trial.

"I'd just like to thank the jury for doing their duty. Been five weeks now, sacrificed their time. Thank my wife and my family, appreciate the support. Right now, it is just a really surreal experience," McElheny said.
