ALBANY, N.Y. -- It was a sea of green shirts as members of Sage College helped give back to the community.
Students, faculty and staff got out their paint brushes to help re-vamp Washington Park. Others helped clean off benches and sweep up leaves.
One freshman says it feels good to lend a hand.
"I'm use to doing community service and I wanted to give back and help the park," Danielle Cureton said.
Albany Mayor Jerry Jennings and Sage President Susan Scrimshaw also pitched in.
