Former SU assistant basketball coach Rob Murphy refused comment on the Bernie Fine situation as he prepared his team to take on Syracuse at the Carrier Dome Tuesday night.
Murphy told YNN it felt strange dressing in the visitors' locker room Monday night before his Eastern Michigan Eagles took the floor for a 75-minute workout.

He also says he's looking forward to reuniting with what he calls "family"---which includes the SU coaching staff and players. But when asked for his thoughts on the Bernie Fine allegations and subsequent firing, Murphy said he didn't want to talk about it on or off the record.

Murphy spent seven seasons coaching alongside Fine before leaving for his first head coaching position in April of this year.

He and the Eagles (4-2) will battle the 4th-ranked Orange at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in a game that will be televised live on TWCS.
