Poughkeepsie teacher indicted on attempted murder charges

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- A Poughkeepsie teacher accused to stabbing another teacher 16 times with a screwdriver during school hours has been indicted on attempted murder charges.
The district attorney's office says Ronette Ricketts has been charged with second degree attempted murder and is also facing second degree assault.
Ricketts, who is an English teacher at Poughkeepsie High, is accused of stabbing Cynthia Glozier, who is also an English teacher at the school.
Ricketts remains free on $100,000 bond.
