SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- A woman arrested for stealing more than $300,000 from the parent company of the Price Chopper supermarket chain pleads guilty to grand larceny.

The Schenectady County District Attorney's Office said that Christina Pagano admitted to stealing from the Golub Corporation over a period of ten years. Pagano worked as a secretary for the company in Rotterdam for 34 years.

Police said she became the primary focus of an investigation after an internal audit revealed misappropriation of funds within a benefit program she exclusively maintained.

Pagano will be sentenced to one to three years in prison and will have to pay full restitution to the Golub Corporation.
