Traffic stop leads to drug charges
COLUMBIA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Connecticut woman is behind bars after a traffic stop leads to drug charges.
Ashley Bankston, 25, of Winsted, Connecticut, was stopped on Route 20 in New Lebanon for driving without head lights. Police found Xanax, Oxycodone and marijuana on Bankston. She was arrested and arraigned on several charges, including two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. She's due back in court later this month.
