ULSTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Emblem Health Services will be closing its medical insurance office later this year.

Employees at its Lake Katrine office in the Town of Ulster were notified on Tuesday.

The Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Emblem Health released the following statement: "Emblem Health is working to find suitable positions for the 84 people in its Lake Katrine office, which will close when the building’s lease ends on October 31, 2012. The work at Lake Katrine is being absorbed by the 4,900 Emblem Health employees. There will be no impact on customer service."
