COHOES, N.Y. -- Senator Kirsten Gillibrand was in the Capital Region Monday, touting her new jobs plan for the area.

Gillibrand toured Precision Valve and Automation in Cohoes. The small business produces and ships factory equipment all over the world and that's message Gillibrand pushed to members of Albany's Chamber of Commerce.

Gillibrand said she's working on legislation that would encourage investments in manufacturing, R & D and transportation in an effort to get folks here in the Capital Region, and around the country, back to work.
