TROY, N.Y. -- A Troy man was arraigned Wednesday morning after police said he sexually assaulted several individuals, all under the age of 18.

Levora Green, 42, is charged with predatory sexual assault.

Police said there are more than five male victims between the ages of 12 and 16 and that he lured them to places using drugs, alcohol and pornographic videos.

Green is accused of having forcible sexual contact with the victims at two separate locations between August 2010 and September 2011.

Captain John Cooney of the Troy Police Department said, "Mr. Green has forcibly committed sex crimes on children as young as 12. He is truly the monster we all tell our children to hopefully avoid and never hope they come into contact with."

Green has two prior felony convictions for drugs and for that reason the judge denied him bail.

A preliminary hearing has been set for Friday.

Police said more charges are likely and there could be additional victims. Anyone who may have addition information regarding this investigation is asked to contact Troy police at 270-4426.
