MIDDLEBURY, N.Y. -- The spiritual leader of Tibet will be in Vermont this fall. The Dalai Lami is scheduled to speak at Middlebury College.

The theme of his visit is "Cultivating Hope, Wisdom and Compassion." His first lecture, called "Educating the Heart," will be presented to faculty, students and staff of the college on October 12th.

His second lecture on the 13th will be open to the public. Tickets will be available through the Middlebury College box office.

This will be the Dalai Lama's third visit to Middlebury.
