Two arrests made following traffic stop
BETHLEHEM, N.Y. -- A traffic stop for speeding on the New York State thruway leads state police to the arrest of a Saugerties man that they said was driving in a stolen car with a suspended driver's license.
State police said around 4:00 am on Monday, Elijah Gray, 44, was pulled over in the town of Bethlehem. They said Gray gave troopers a false name and found the car he was driving was reported stolen from Poughkeepsie.
He was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, Criminal Impersonation, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation and speeding.
Earline Bullock, 36, of Saugerties was a passenger in the car and was charged with Criminal Possession of Stolen Property. Both men were arraigned and taken to Albany County jail.
