Albany Police make two separate stolen vehicle arrests

ALBANY, N.Y. -- Albany Police arrested two men they say were caught driving in separate stolen vehicles.
Police say Torrezz Lumpkins, 19, of Providence, Rhode Island, was pulled over around 2 a.m. Tuesday on Central Avenue after police say he failed to signal at an intersection. During the investigation, police say they learned Lumpkins was driving a stolen BMW. He was arrested and charged with criminal possession of stolen property, driving without a proper license and failure to signal. Lumpkins was arraigned and sent to the Albany County Jail.
Police also arrested Eugene Royal, 20, of Albany, around 3 a.m. Wednesday. They say Royal was driving a stolen Toyota Camry. He was arrested and charged with criminal possession of stolen property and unlicensed operator.
