MONTGOMERY COUNTY, N.Y. – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s office arrested an Amsterdam man they say contacted a 13-year-old girl on Facebook and then sexually assaulted her.

Deputies say Ryan Holland is accused of having sexual intercourse with a minor. After receiving a complaint, on Wednesday, deputies arrested and charged Holland with rape. He was arraigned and released on his own recognizance.

Holland is due back in court next week.
