Special education teacher arrested
GREENE COUNTY, N.Y. -- A special education teacher in the Coxsackie-Athens School District has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
State Police say last month, the father of an autistic boy told police Lorna Collins-Mihill got into a physical altercation with the child on a school bus. After an investigation, police charged Collins-Mihill with endangering the welfare of a child and harassment.
Police aren't releasing any other details about the incident.
Collins-Mihill was released and is scheduled to appear in Coxsackie Town Court on Monday.
