NEW PALTZ, N.Y. -- The death of a two-year-old girl is being investigated in New Paltz.

Police say it happened at a home on North Route 32 in the Town of New Paltz. They have not released any further information about the circumstances of the girl's death, but Chief Joe Snyder did send out a statement saying, "Every death outside of a hospital is investigated and treated suspicious until proven otherwise."
