HYDE PARK, N.Y. -- A man is in police custody after a short crime spree in Hyde Park and Poughkeepsie. In the course of about one week, police said that Ernestas Kazlaukas, 23, allegedly robbed, or attempted to rob, three pharmacy stores and stole two cars.

Hyde Park and town of Poughkeepsie police were both in on the investigation, and eventually tracked down Kazlaukas. He is charged with attempted robbery and grand larceny, both are felonies.
